LTSS will hold its first General Meeting on September 23, 2009 from 11:30 - 1pm.  First on the list will be elections for the below executive positions. If you are interested in running, please let LTSS know in advance by e-mailing ltss.exec@uottawa.ca. Everyone is welcome. Please be ready to give a 2 min intro about yourself and your background at the meeting.

 This is a great opportunity for you to get involved in what promises to be an exciting 2009-2010 academic year. The LTSS will be working with the new Research Centre for Law, Technology and Society, the Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC), the Law and Technology Professors and the university community as a whole to bring you new and innovative events. Hello and Welcome to the 2009-2010 Academic Year!

What: “Facebook Faces the Music”

The Law and Technology Student Society (LTSS) is happy to announce its first event of the year. On October 2, 2009 from 3-5pm, LTSS and The Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC) will present  “Facebook Faces the Music: A session with CIPPIC interns and staff about their complaint about Facebook to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.”
